37 out, snow going...
After a more than week of snow it is slowly going away. Good thing since now we can walk on the sidewalks but I am going to miss playing in the fluffy stuff. Still enough snow to make yellow snow but it won't last long. It must be now that it isn't in the single digits we are talking longer walks.
Now Mr. B you just have to control your hurting urges in the pet store. Sure I get all excited when I see them rats on wheels and birds in cages but all I do is wag and pull. I will tell once while walking I came upon a baby bird that had fallen out of it's nest - yumm gulped him down in one bite. Then there was the baby rabbit...

Yellow Snow
Griz here, been out making all the yellow snow I can. It's kind of cold here even for a dog with a fuzzy pecker. Still I try to make as much yellow snow as I can. (Zero and mid teens for highs since we got back home.)
Bouncer's Dad sent this along regarding eating yellow snow. So the next time you come upon some yellow snow, be warned not all yellow snow is the same. I sometimes stick my nose into it to smell or taste it just to be sure...

Bouncer creates ruckus at PETCO
While Mom was shopping next door, I took B into a PETCO, for his second visit. We went to the vitamins and checked-out brewers yeast, too expensive, then headed to the wildbird section for suet. On the way to that part of the store he did his customary pee against a rack. . Passing by a large glass floor standing cage of parakeets he noticed them and began running around it and jumping against it. Then he began to bounce and bark/growl as a sales person came to investigate. She said, that's a terrier all right, and I replied, yes he's a terror. I had to pick him up and carry him out of the store.

5 here tonight - hard to smell
It is cold but my walker doesn't let me stop and smell. I need to root under the snow and you know it just takes longer to smell odors when it is cold.
Jon took me through downtown today but I had to sit down and pull to force him to let me smell the trees (and leave my message). I think he is in some kind of a hurry - I don't understand why - the weather is perfect.
Bouncer - heard about your bearing of teeth when the big bone was taken away. You got to remember not to bit the hand that feeds you (especially when the hand of other one who feeds you is still in a cast)
